With a broad foundation of experience—including corporate, international, consulting and training roles—Whitney works with entrepreneurs, leaders and high potentials in her role as a change agent for both individuals and global organizations. She has experience as both an internal and external catalyst, specifically as Global Director of HR for a consulting firm and as a facilitator and trainer for Franklin-Covey in the Middle East. She began her career in the hospitality industry and operates with the personal motto of “Outstanding Customer Service,” spurred by her Ritz-Carlton training.
Whitney’s work has taken her across five continents and provided the opportunity to be a lifelong learner of people, cultures and organizational complexities. Through her various roles in the hospitality industry, her career focus gradually shifted from guest experiences to employees, and finally, to leading large-scale organizational change. From inception to implementation, Whitney has developed global training initiatives that have honed her skills as a facilitator and coach. Working closely with executives to set the strategic direction of the business and build a track record of success is also one of her areas of strength.
Whitney graduated from Cornell University with her BS in Hotel Administration. Before joining Navalent, Whitney served in leadership positions at the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore, Franklin-Covey (Cairo), HVS (New York) and also worked at several different Olympic Games (Athens, Beijing, Vancouver and London). In addition to her work at Navalent, she is an instructor for eCornell, with a special focus on strategy, organizational behavior, and human resources.
