Executive Development Intensive
A multi-dimensional approach to developing leadership capacity that drives business performance.
When a leader within your organization takes a new role, a new team, or a new challenge, that leader and your business likely have a specific intent or goal in mind. But turning that intent into real impact for your organization doesn’t always happen. Often the opportunity requires greater breadth and depth than any previous role. Maybe the leader lacks the specific capabilities or the relationships to succeed. Perhaps his or her leadership strategies aren’t properly aligned with your organizational style. Maybe they have great potential but the challenge is sufficiently new or different and their previous tried and true methods have to be adjusted for a new altitude. Or maybe the team isn’t on board.
Our Executive Development Intensives are designed to prepare your leader to succeed within the context of your organization by taking a holistic approach to development. And they’re called intensives for a reason. They dive deep into the context surrounding your leader and the leader’s individual psyche to design a formula for success.
The Navalent approach to leader transformation involves the better half of a year. It begins with defining specific outcomes and it includes an in-depth discovery process to truly understand the full scope of the situation. We take the data we gain during interviews with the leader, bosses, peers, and direct reports and we align it with concrete objectives. Then we design specific interventions that pull the right levers and address the significant issues in order to drive results. The final step is reflection, with a focus on sustaining the changes made.
The process takes time and effort. It involves commitment from the leader as well as bosses and direct reports. And it’s not for the faint of heart.
But these intensives result in leaders who evolve to better understand their leadership agenda, their impact on those around them, and their role in furthering your organization’s goals. Most important, they leaders with the specific capacity to lead themselves, lead others within your business, and lead your organization to achieve the results and impact you intend.
